Planning Pipeline

The planning pipeline is how a plain-language goal becomes implementation-ready work.

You describe the goal, Opheleon drafts the planning overlays for it, and your team reviews and approves each one before the next builds on it:

1. PRD overlay — what the product should do and how users should experience it.
2. Tech Approach overlay — the technical direction, plus an implementation plan that becomes tasks.

For product work where the requirements aren’t settled, the PRD overlay comes first and you approve it before the Tech Approach overlay is drafted. For tech-driven work like refactors and migrations — or when you already have a concrete PRD — Opheleon goes straight to the Tech Approach overlay.

When your codebase has been imported, Opheleon plans against your real system, so the output reflects what you actually have. Once the Tech Approach overlay is approved, you can turn its plan into tasks.
