FAQ

What is Opheleon?

Opheleon is a planning system for teams building complex software. It connects business goals, product requirements, system design, implementation specs, and code-aware context so teams can move from idea to execution without losing the reasoning behind what gets built.

What documents does Opheleon create?

Opheleon works with four document layers: BRD, PRD, HLD, and LLD.

Can Opheleon start from an existing codebase?

Yes. With GitHub connected, Opheleon can import an existing repository to initialize planning context for an existing product before future planning work begins.

Does Opheleon replace product managers or engineers?

No. Opheleon drafts and organizes planning context, but humans review, correct, and approve the work.

Can Opheleon create implementation tasks?

Yes. After implementation planning is complete, Opheleon can generate tasks for connected tools such as Linear or Trello.

How does Opheleon keep plans current?

When GitHub is connected, Opheleon can summarize recent code changes and use that context during future planning runs. Most teams can rely on that for ongoing planning context; re-import is available for recovery or documentation refresh cases when committed docs need to be regenerated from the current codebase.

What happens if the generated draft is wrong?

You can edit it, request changes, reject it, or backtrack to an earlier layer and revise the plan.
